Privacy Policy

Last updated September 9, 2026

We keep this simple on purpose: we collect only what we need to answer your inquiries and understand how this site is used, and we do not sell your personal information.

01

Who we are

AE Digital Creations (“we,” “us,” or “our”) is a one-person web studio operated by Abir Elshimy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you visit aedigitalcreations.com (the “Site”), how we use it, and the choices you have.

02

Information you provide to us

Contact form. When you reach out through the form on our Contact page, we collect the name, email address, and message you submit, along with your business name and the type of inquiry if you choose to provide them. We use a third-party form service, Web3Forms, to deliver these submissions to our inbox by email.

Email. If you email us directly, we receive your email address and whatever information you include in your message.

Website discovery checklist. Our website discovery checklist saves your answers only in your own web browser, on your own device, so that you can leave and come back to it. This information is not transmitted to us automatically; it reaches us only if you choose to share it with us directly.

03

Information collected automatically

Analytics. Like most websites, we use Google Analytics to understand how visitors find and use the Site, such as which pages are viewed, roughly where visitors are located by region, and what type of device and browser they use. Google Analytics sets cookies and collects this information on our behalf. We use it in aggregate to improve the Site, not to identify you personally.

Hosting and server logs. The Site is hosted by Vercel. Like most hosting providers, Vercel automatically records standard technical information, such as your IP address, browser type, and the pages you request, for security, reliability, and troubleshooting.

04

How we use your information

We use the information described above to:

  • respond to your inquiries and provide the services you ask about;
  • communicate with you about a project or request;
  • operate, maintain, secure, and improve the Site;
  • keep reasonable records of our business communications; and
  • comply with our legal obligations.

We process this information because it is necessary to respond to your request, because we have a legitimate interest in running and improving our studio and Site, or because you have consented (for example, to analytics cookies where consent is required).

05

Cookies and analytics choices

The Site itself does not set advertising cookies. The main cookies you may encounter come from Google Analytics, described above. You can control cookies through your browser settings, and you can opt out of Google Analytics across all websites by installing Google’s official opt-out browser add-on.

Most browsers also let you send a “Do Not Track” signal. Because there is no common industry standard for these signals, we handle information as described in this policy.

06

How we share information

We do not sell or rent your personal information. We share it only with the service providers that help us run the Site and respond to you, and only as needed for them to do their job:

  • Web3Forms, which delivers contact-form submissions to us by email;
  • Google Analytics (Google LLC), for website usage analytics; and
  • Vercel, for website hosting and security.

We may also disclose information if required by law, to enforce our terms, or to protect the rights, safety, and property of ourselves or others.

07

How long we keep it

We keep contact and project inquiries for as long as needed to respond to you and to maintain reasonable business records, after which we delete or archive them. Analytics data is retained according to our Google Analytics settings and Google’s own retention policies.

08

International visitors

We operate from the United States, and our service providers may process information in the United States and other countries. If you access the Site from elsewhere, you understand that your information may be transferred to and processed in countries whose data-protection laws may differ from those in your own.

09

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights over your personal information, including the right to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of it, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent. Residents of the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom have these rights under the GDPR; California residents have rights under the CCPA/CPRA, including the right not to have personal information sold. As noted, we do not sell personal information.

To exercise any of these rights, email us at info@aedigitalcreations.com and we will respond as required by applicable law.

10

Data security

We take reasonable measures to protect the information we hold, and we rely on reputable providers, such as Vercel and Google, that maintain their own security practices. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. Please do not send sensitive information, such as passwords, financial account numbers, or government identifiers, through the Site’s forms or by email.

11

Children's privacy

The Site is intended for businesses and adults. It is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 16. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us and we will delete it.

12

Links to other sites

The Site may link to third-party websites and services that we do not control. This Privacy Policy does not apply to those sites, and we encourage you to review their own privacy policies.

13

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the Site after an update means you accept the revised policy.
